Installation instructions:

In usually your Documents folder should be a VIP folder. In there needs to be a

Cogg

folder (note the spelling and capitalisation). Copy the files (all of them) from the CoggSP\Set Files folder, and paste them into your

Documents\VIP Mud\Cogg
folder. Now, copy the Cogg folder in the CoggSP folder, and paste that into your

Documents\VIP Mud\sounds

folder. This will replace any of the same files in both folders. Do not change the name of any of the files. Now, you can load Cogg, and it should play music before you log in, when it asks for your username.

In-game setup:

You have to set certain options for a bit of this SP to work.

3. RoomCond: on
4. RoomEnv: on
9. Compass: off
13. CompassCenter: off
16. RoundtimeAlert: on

Metaprefixes:

You can view your metaprefixes with either the "metaprefix" or "MPF" commands.

Emotes: on
Movement: on
Say: on

If you don't have these options set up this way, the pack won't work correctly.

Volume controls:

F9 - volume down
F10 - volume up

Chat buffers:

There's a chat buffer, and it works like most other games. Alt+left arrow and Alt+right arrow to browse through the catagories, and Alt+1 through Alt+0 to playback a message in that catagory. The catagories are:

Who
Game
Tell
ESP
Say
Emote

The buffer doesn't work for canned socials, such as whistle, cheer, laugh and so on. It also doesn't pick up when people send a tinge of their color over the ESP Network (I have to figure out why that one breaks other buffer scripting).

Custom commands and aliases:

The soundpack has a few custom aliases and such.

tg - turn extra text gagging on and off. Default is off, but you'll have to use it twice to turn it on the first time.
cg - turn extra combat gagging on and off. Default is off, but you'll have to use it twice to turn it on the first time.
mg - turn extra magic gagging on and off. Default is off, but you'll have to use it twice to turn it on the first time.

*opn - open a certain container
*cls - close a certain container
*pi -put items into a certain container

Here are the containers:
b backpack
b2 second backpack
k locksmith's kit
p pouch
p2 second pouch
pa pack
pu coin purse

So you can type p2opn, p2pi 200 riln, p2cls

And that will open your second pouch, put 200 riln in the second pouch, and close the second pouch. There's also a couple of *pi, or put in only commands:

barpi put whatever in barrel
binpi put whatever in bin
hpi put whatever in handcart
spi put whatever in skillet
