Credits & Refunds
How credit reservations, expiry, failed jobs and payment reversals work.
Monthly credits and purchased packs
Monthly subscription credits are granted after a verified paid invoice and expire at the end of that billing period. They do not roll over. Purchased packs are granted after a verified successful payment, do not expire and do not change your plan or feature access.
Credits are service units, not cash, a deposit or a transferable financial account. They cannot be paid out or transferred to another person. Spending uses the earliest-expiring available grant first.
Approve before queueing
Paid cloud work requires a quote and a credit ceiling before it enters the queue. Reserved credits reduce the available balance and count toward spending limits. A successful job settles its charge within the approved ceiling and releases unused credits. A changed request requires a new quote.
Cloud generation and premium planning may have different prices. A customer credit charge is separate from the provider’s cost. Local work and work using your own provider key do not debit Studio credits, except when you explicitly select a Studio-hosted service.
Failed or canceled work
When a job ends in error or cancellation, its Studio credit hold is released. A release into a monthly grant that has already expired is forfeited rather than extending that grant. A delivered result you dislike is not automatically a technical failure; contact support with the job identifier if it appears broken.
Stopping an unsent request can prevent submission. A provider may continue work after it has accepted a request. If delivery is uncertain, Studio keeps the request identity for reconciliation instead of silently submitting a second paid generation. Contact support for an unresolved hold.
Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)
If you are a consumer whose billing address is in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway, you can withdraw from a plan or pack purchase within 14 days of buying it without giving a reason. Use “Withdraw from contract here” on the Credits page. Enter your name, choose the purchase, say where to send the confirmation, and select “Confirm withdrawal”. You can also email support@qambalabs.com with the same details. We acknowledge every withdrawal by email, with its content and the date and time it was submitted.
At checkout you can ask us to start immediately. For a credit pack, you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the credits are delivered. For a plan, you pay for what was provided until you withdraw, in proportion to the full price. You lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided.
Where the right applies, we reimburse you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, to the original payment method and without a fee. Withdrawing ends the purchase: its remaining credits are removed and a withdrawn plan does not renew. If the right does not apply, we explain why by email. This does not limit other refunds described below.
Refund requests and disputes
For a payment refund request, contact support@qambalabs.com from your account email with the purchase or invoice identifier and the reason. We review requests individually, including duplicate charges and service failures. Outside mandatory refund and withdrawal rights, refunds are discretionary; canceling a subscription does not itself refund an already-paid period. There is no separate satisfaction guarantee. Applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
A payment refund removes the corresponding credits proportionately. If those credits have already been spent, the resulting credit debt is shown in your wallet and future grants clear it first. Ledger entries are retained so the adjustment remains auditable.
A payment dispute holds or reverses its associated credits. A won dispute restores the eligible amount once; a lost dispute retains the reversal. Refunds and disputes do not silently delete historical usage or create a second grant. Payment processing and settlement are handled by Stripe.
Renewal and downgrade
Cancel or review a scheduled plan change through Manage billing. Cancellation at period end preserves current access until then. A new monthly allowance is granted only after payment; a failed renewal does not create a new grant.
Purchased packs remain separate after a downgrade or cancellation. They retain their non-expiring balance but do not preserve paid plan features. Any new work still needs an eligible service, sufficient credits and spending authorization.
